- Utilize student learning outcomes to design engaging activities, assignments, and assessments that ensure curriculum objectives are met.
- Create an inclusive and interactive learning experience that promotes student success and retention.
- Maintain a Blackboard course with a syllabus and gradebook for each class.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
- Respond to student inquiries within two business days.
- Report attendance weekly.
- Participate in activities required to maintain program and/or college accreditation standards.
- Engage in professional development activities to stay current in the field of engineering.
- Maintain knowledge of industry developments and renew credentials as needed.
- Attend departmental, divisional, and college-wide meetings as requested.
- Cultivate a culture of care and advocacy through empathy, inclusion, and opportunity.
- Recognize and respect the diversity of experiences and contributions represented by students, employees, and the community.
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field with 18 or more graduate hours in Engineering.
- Previous higher education experience.
- Previous experience using Blackboard and technology in education.
- Five years of practical or industry experience in engineering with some CAD experience.
