Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Dallas, TX. As a US Tech, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment and ensuring accurate image capture for medical interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Educate patients and family members on procedures and prepare exam rooms for examinations
  • Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe areas of concern and report abnormalities to medical staff
  • Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
  • Conduct scan tests and write reports based on results
  • Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • BLS, ARDMS National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
