  • Oversee load volumes and yield metrics in accordance with management expectations.

  • Ensure all loads are accurately documented with essential information, including ratings, pick-up and delivery schedules, and customer details.
  • Maintain comprehensive call lists and turn-down lists to identify brokerage opportunities.
  • Guarantee that outbound loads adhere to a strict delivery timeline.
  • Oversee customer websites and ensure compliance with EDI requirements while closing orders promptly.
  • Communicate any service disruptions to shippers, customers, and sales management.
  • Manage turn-down freight opportunities in collaboration with sales management to address customer issues.
  • Monitor layover ratios for the assigned region based on management's standards.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Main Performance Indicators: Success is measured by freight volumes booked, customer growth metrics, revenue per mile, and layover ratios.

Core Competencies: Strong customer service orientation, active listening skills, effective coordination, time management, and monitoring abilities.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the logistics industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on various factors affecting freight operations.
  • Computer literacy is essential, with a basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements: The role involves sitting for extended periods, using hands for various tasks, and occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds. Visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus are necessary.

Work Environment: The office setting is climate-controlled with a moderate noise level.
