Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC Technician III to join our team at Daikin Applied. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, split systems, air-cooled chillers, boilers, and centrifugal chillers.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve complex equipment issues.
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide training and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers to provide status updates, explain technical information, and identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Accurately record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility, or 7+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license, state license or certifications as required by market, and EPA-approved Universal Technician Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mentorship Experience: Previous experience in mentoring less experienced technicians.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products and current first aid/CPR certification.
