Job Title: Registered Nurse/Labor and Delivery

Ambe Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse/Labor and Delivery to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

This is a travel nurse opportunity for a Registered Nurse/Labor and Delivery to work in a Family Service Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in Labor and Delivery and Mother/Baby units. The position requires a strong skillset in patient care, with a focus on providing excellent care to patients during the ante, intra, and post-partum stages.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as cesarean sections and external versions
  • Assist with inductions of labor, epidurals, and blood patches
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery and Mother/Baby units
  • Current BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP, and FHM certifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of patient acuity
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

This is a travel nurse opportunity, and the nurse will be working in a Family Service Center. The nurse will be required to float to other units based on the needs of the hospital within their skillset.

Schedule Requirements:
  • Maximum 7 days off per week
  • Blocked scheduling not guaranteed
  • May be scheduled for call on rare occasions
Holidays:

Ambe Healthcare Staffing requires full compliance with holiday requirements. If one major holiday falls in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Major holidays include Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
