Job Summary:

El Dorado Springs, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a passionate and patient-centric Behavioral Health Social Worker to join our team at our behavioral health facility in Tucson, Arizona. We specialize in compassionate behavioral health services, including high-quality, evidence-based mental health and substance use treatment. The ideal candidate will provide clinical psychiatric care for patients on the Behavioral Health Units, develop and facilitate discharge planning, and deliver psychoeducational programming and group psychotherapy. They will also participate in the development of individualized treatment plans and contribute to the multidisciplinary treatment team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and develop curriculum to meet the psychological needs of patients.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team planning, encouraging patient and family involvement.
  • Perform clinical services aimed at stabilizing psychiatric crises and promoting healthy mental health management.
  • Coordinate discharge plans, including referrals to community resources and post-hospital care.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement and contribute to problem-solving and data analysis.

Requirements:


  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related Behavioral Health field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in behavioral health discipline, with acute inpatient psychiatric hospital experience preferred.
  • Handle with Care and CPR certifications.
