Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at TravelCenters of America. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient service to customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results to develop a repair plan
  • Communicate with Service Advisors to ensure effective repair processes
  • Repair malfunctioning parts and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Recommend additional services to customers during inspection reviews
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an acceptable trade school or manufacturer's technical school, or previous mechanic experience
  • Ability to work unsupervised and flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Meet physical demands of the job with or without accommodation
