Job Summary:

TemPositions is seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to join our team of professionals working in private and charter schools in the Miami-Dade & Broward County areas. As a Substitute Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing instruction and guidance to students in grades K-12.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction and support to students in a variety of subjects, including reading, writing, and mathematics.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities to promote student learning and engagement.
  • Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings.
