Your Role:
As a Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral part of our community, providing essential support to veterinarians and ensuring high-quality care for our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians in delivering top-notch veterinary care and educating clients on pet health.
- Facilitating efficient hospital operations to enhance patient flow and productivity.
- Participating in surgical procedures in compliance with state regulations for veterinary technicians.
- Communicating effectively with clients regarding their pets' health and available treatment options.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and health histories for all patients.
- Utilizing safe restraint techniques and ensuring cleanliness in treatment areas and exam rooms.
- Mentoring and supporting fellow team members in their professional growth.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in veterinary technician roles with direct animal care.
- Licensure as an LVT, RVT, or CVT is preferred.
- Availability to work rotating weekends and select holidays.
- A passion for practicing empathetic and high-standard veterinary medicine.
- A collaborative spirit with a focus on teamwork.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards clients and colleagues.
- A commitment to continuous professional development as a veterinary technician.
