Deli Associate

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Deli Associate at VG's Grocery. As a key member of our deli team, you will be responsible for preparing and selling a variety of deli products, including meats, cheeses, and sandwiches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare and produce deli products to meet customer demand, including slicing meats, cheeses, and vegetables.
• Product Display and Merchandising: Display and merchandise deli products in an attractive and appealing manner to customers.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers about our deli products.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of deli products, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: One year of retail or food service experience preferred.
• Skills: Basic math skills, ability to read and write, and excellent communication skills.
