Telemetry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at AdventHealth Riverview. As a Telemetry Technician, you will play a vital role in monitoring patients' cardiac rhythms and providing critical care support to our healthcare team.

• Accurately interpret rhythm, rate, and morphology of strips
• Enter patient data into cardiac monitoring system, ensuring accurate location and monitor coincidence
• Prepare and maintain patient records from admission to discharge, documenting rhythm strips at predetermined intervals and with each change in rhythm
• Communicate changes in cardiac rhythm, rate, or morphology promptly to the primary care nurse and/or charge nurse
• Recognize need for and initiate Rapid Response / Code Blue timely and accurately

• High School diploma or equivalent upon hire
• Completion of Telemetry Education/Competency within 30 days of hire date
