We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Registered Nurse to join our team at Avera McKennan Hospital. As a key member of our innovative virtual nursing program, you will provide professional nursing care remotely, collaborating with bedside nurses using advanced audio-visual technology and specialized software.

**Estimated Annual Salary: $66,240 - $94,100**
Job Summary:The Virtual Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care with collaboration from the bedside nurse through two-way audio-visual technology and monitoring data through specialized software. This position assists in coaching and mentoring department staff in areas of clinical and professional practice.
Duties include admission history, medication double checks, medication reconciliation, and pain reassessment.
Education and Experience:A graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. A bachelor's degree in nursing is also preferred. Minimum of 1 year of Acute Care Inpatient experience required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required. ANCC Certification in applicable specialty area is encouraged. Membership in a professional organization is also encouraged.
Work Schedule:Hours: Varied Shifts. Every other weekend and holiday involvement.
