Join Our Team as a Culinary Support Associate

Fairview Range is seeking a dedicated Culinary Support Associate for our Nutrition Services Department. In this role, you will engage in various responsibilities including serving as an Expediter, Hostess, and assisting in the Dish Room. Your contributions will support patient care, cafeteria operations, and special event meal services, all while adhering to established menus and departmental guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in food production and service.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with Health Department regulations for a safe and sanitary environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide appropriate service based on the age and needs of the individuals served.
• Gather information, conduct assessments, and implement effective care plans tailored to the specific age groups.

Work Schedule:

This position is classified as Casual, with a work range of 0-40 hours per pay period. Anticipated hours are from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, including weekends as required. There may be opportunities to pick up additional hours during the day shifts when available.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in institutional food service is preferred.
• A high school diploma is desirable.
• Relevant coursework in institutional food service is beneficial.
• Proficient hand-washing techniques for infection control.
• Utilize two patient identifiers when delivering food items.
