This role necessitates a valid State of Florida Class D Security License.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a secure environment for clients and staff while performing general security functions.
Engage with a diverse range of individuals including clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
Adhere to specific post instructions as outlined by the client.
Demonstrate the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Promote safety by being vigilant to identify, rectify, and report any potential hazards.
Contribute to team success by achieving related objectives.

Essential Duties:
Maintain a visible presence to ensure safety and deter inappropriate actions.
Remain at your assigned post until your replacement arrives.
Understand and comply with DSI and Client protocols.
Possess a solid understanding of and adhere to DSI's Code of Ethics and Employee Standards.
Participate in training sessions and familiarize yourself with general safety protocols, including DSI's safety manual.
Attend ongoing security officer training as mandated by the Client or DSI's training program.
Present yourself professionally in both appearance and conduct.

Position Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Possess a valid State of Florida Class D Security License.
Hold a valid driver's license.
Have reliable transportation and communication means.
Successfully pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
Exhibit strong customer service skills.
Demonstrate basic to intermediate computer proficiency.
Possess effective written and verbal communication abilities.
Be capable of performing routine foot and bicycle patrols, as well as moderate lifting.
