About the Role

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of the facility's buildings, grounds, and equipment. This includes ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily routine maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical equipment repair.
  • Maintain the facility's general plant and facilities in good repair, adhering to safety and compliance standards.
  • Complete work orders and hazard reports in a timely and efficient manner, reporting equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to the Director immediately.
  • Ensure maintenance supplies are ordered and stored properly, and follow a preventative maintenance and repair schedule.
  • Assist with lawn care, landscaping, and parking lot maintenance as needed.
  • Inspect and maintain emergency power equipment, fire alarm systems, and lighting systems, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, furniture, and other equipment as needed.
  • Assure work areas are clean and equipment is properly stored before leaving.
  • Participate in fire and disaster drills, and assist with client transports as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in a related field or two years of college-level construction trade education preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in maintenance or facility operations, with health care facility experience preferred.
  • One year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Certification or licensure in a trade such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license required.
