Core Responsibilities:


Enterprise Architecture Development:
Craft an enterprise architecture that provides client stakeholders with insights into critical capabilities, dependencies, total cost of ownership, and significant impacts and risks.

This involves:
Establishing the Enterprise Architecture Baseline – identifying and documenting the current state of the client's IT enterprise across various organizations.

Defining the Enterprise Architecture Future State – collaborating within and beyond the client's IT Roadmap vision to outline the desired future state of the client's IT enterprise.

Creating the Enterprise Architecture Transition Plan – developing structured guidance and architectural artifacts to systematically transition the client's enterprise architecture from the current state to the future state.

Strategic Design and Planning:
Formulate and uphold a comprehensive architecture vision and strategy.

Develop roadmaps for technology adoption and system enhancements.

Establish standards for system design, security, and scalability.

Collaborate with business leaders to ensure IT initiatives align with organizational objectives.

Systems Integration:
Assess existing systems and recommend enhancements.

Incorporate new technologies and applications into the current IT framework.

Guarantee seamless interoperability across diverse systems and platforms.

Risk Assessment and Management:
Identify potential risks associated with technology decisions.

Mitigate risks by implementing best practices and security protocols.

Monitor system performance and promptly address vulnerabilities.

Resource Management:
Optimize resource allocation for IT initiatives.

Ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Provide guidance on technology investments and procurement strategies.

Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.

Effectively communicate architectural decisions and recommendations to stakeholders.

Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.


Required Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly

A minimum of 8 years of experience with a BS/BA; 6 years with an MS/MA; or 3 years with a PhD (additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

Demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Systems Engineer/Architect or in a similar capacity

Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF)

Expertise in system design, enterprise architecture, cloud, data, and security technologies, as well as compute and storage optimization

Exceptional communication skills for technical documentation, oral presentations, and executive-level deliverables

Proficient in Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering

A commitment to staying informed about industry trends and advancements.

Preferred Qualifications:
Five or more years of experience within the Intelligence Community (IC)

Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw, etc.)

Familiarity with Data Security and Compliance, Data Integrity, Data Tagging, Data Mesh, AI Integration, API brokers, and Qualitative Computing.

Knowledge of and experience with IC policies, directives, and standards

Experience with data visualization tools/software (e.g., Tableau, MS PowerBI)

Target Salary Range:
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
