Position Title: Order Fulfillment Specialist
Role Summary: The Order Fulfillment Specialist will be tasked with efficiently managing the picking of orders for various projects, primarily focusing on case picking within the warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in a daily team briefing to align on goals and tasks.
- Utilize the equipment's CPU screen to accurately pick orders throughout the shift.
- Once an order is completed, ensure proper palletization, labeling for shipment, and staging in the designated area for transport.
- Note that loading of pallets onto trucks is handled by a separate team.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, requiring a proactive and self-driven approach.
- Proficient in operating cherry pickers and forklifts.
- Experience in warehouse operations.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work autonomously.
- Second shift, Monday through Friday (5 PM until completion of tasks).
- Current shift duration extends until 5 AM, resulting in approximately 60 hours of work per week.
- Hourly wage: $19.00.
- This role is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity, lasting for a duration of 90 days.
- The position is fully on-site within a standard warehouse setting.
- The atmosphere is generally quiet, accommodating 6-10 operators during shifts, ensuring ample space to work.
- Temperature control is limited in summer, while heating is provided in winter months.
- Dress code includes steel-toed boots, with casual attire such as jeans and t-shirts acceptable.
