Responsibilities:

* Manage the whey plant operation, including overseeing and controlling all incoming and outgoing products, production output, sanitation, and product quality
* Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of all equipment
* Troubleshoot and resolve operational/mechanical problems in a timely manner
* Perform preventative maintenance inspections to identify problems before they occur
* Maintain an open line of communication with operators, baggers, truck drivers, and contacts in other departments
* Complete scheduling and maintain proper levels of manpower

Requirements:

* Background in fluid flow, metering of liquids, and silo rotation is preferred
* Strong computer skills and strong communication abilities are required
* Mechanical background will help the candidate be successful
* High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science/Chemistry or dairy-related experience preferred
