Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and empathetic individual to support our patients in their recovery journey. As a Behavioral Health Assistant/Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, while also providing emotional support and guidance throughout their treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hourly building rounds to ensure patient safety and security
  • Complete room searches throughout the facility to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Administer toxicology screenings to monitor patient health
  • Supervise wellness and family group activities to promote patient engagement and support
  • Guide patients through the challenges of recovery, providing emotional support and guidance
  • Transport patients to medical appointments or other facilities as needed, ensuring safe and timely transportation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • An Associate's degree and 1 year of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting or customer service role
  • Relevant experience includes previous work in a behavioral health setting or customer service role
  • A clean, valid, NYS driver's license, and three years of driving experience as a licensed driver
