Position Overview

Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Zing Recruiting is collaborating with a leading Automotive Manufacturing Firm seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to enhance their operations. This role focuses on the upkeep and preventive servicing of assembly and material handling machinery, adhering to established service protocols and operational guidelines.


Key Responsibilities
  • Full-time opportunities available
  • Compensation: $25-$32/hr. based on experience
  • Work Schedule: 2nd shift from 5 PM to 3:30 AM
  • Conduct repairs on assembly and material handling machinery
  • Perform servicing and preventive maintenance in line with service protocols and operational guidelines
  • Engage in the rebuilding and enhancement of assembly machinery, including root cause analysis and process improvement
  • Develop operating manuals, service protocols, and operational guidelines for production machinery
  • Maintain detailed records of completed tasks on a daily basis in SAP

Qualifications
  • Proficient technical knowledge in electrical systems, electronics, PLC (Siemens), robotic technology (ABB), hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, measurement techniques, power drive systems, and BUS systems (ASI, Profi)
  • Experience with highly automated production systems, including robotics
  • Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), KAIZEN methodologies, Poka Yoke, and continuous improvement practices
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance technician role
