Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at UROPARTNERS LLC. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians during interventional procedures and providing diagnostic aid through conducting organ or body scans on patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians to determine protocol and procedure for patient care.
  • Obtain and record patient identification, medical history, or test results.
  • Administer and record isotope dosage in accordance with established departmental protocol.
  • Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Perform medical care as needed, such as administering oxygen, taking vital signs, and giving emergency treatments.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Maintain, clean, and report any issues with equipment.
  • Administer appropriate high-quality, patient-focused healthcare.
  • Operate imaging equipment and other ancillary equipment properly and safely.
  • Practice correct radiation protection, shielding, and collimating, and proper exposure factors on each patient.
  • Complete exams in a timely and efficient manner and evaluate each film for acceptable technical quality.
  • Accurately, efficiently, and completely document all clinical patient care data.
  • Participate in department quality improvement activities, staff educational programs, attend departmental meetings, and demonstrate and maintain clinical competency in the delivery of patient care services in accordance with Company guidelines.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Radiography. Graduate of Accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • License and certification as required by state.
  • Valid ARRT Certification in Radiography.
  • BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiologic Technologist experience required; urology experience strongly preferred.
