Position Overview: This role involves providing comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care that encompasses accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health issues, health counseling, and planning for patient disposition. The LPN will also focus on education and treatment related to pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and promoting safer sex practices.
Contract Details: This is a contract role with the potential for permanent employment based on attendance, performance, and organizational needs.

Position Responsibilities:
- Administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19 and influenza vaccines, while providing patient and parent education.
- Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Perform patient assessments during intake.
- Measure vital signs and conduct diagnostic tests such as EKGs and Retinopathy screenings.
- Execute Point of Care testing, including COVID testing.
- Manage patient registration and intake, assisting with wait room operations to enhance patient experience.
- Order necessary equipment and prepare the clinic to ensure optimal patient care.
- Contribute to our mission of supporting individuals on their journey to improved health through exceptional patient-focused interactions.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Graduate from an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
- Proficient in documenting within an Electronic Medical Record system.
- Capable of taking vital signs, performing phlebotomy, and conducting Point of Care Testing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Must possess a valid and unrestricted nursing license in the state of application.
