Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver, you will work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing support and assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living activities
  • Support individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Provide behavioral support and crisis intervention as needed
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and team members
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized support plans

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
