About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead MRI Technologist to join our team at RadNet. As a key member of our diagnostic radiology team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our MRI technologists, ensuring the highest level of patient care and quality imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide feedback to the Imaging Center Manager on the performance and quality of technologists, and offer coaching, training, and support to team members to ensure they meet the highest standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and document performance during performance periods, and provide documentation to the Imaging Center Manager.
  • Staff Utilization: Promote flexibility in staff utilization and delegate work appropriately across teams and departments.
  • Quality and Safety: Adhere to all OSHA regulations, RadNet practices, and generally accepted safety protocols.
  • Technical Skills: Perform technologist duties to maintain technical skills and alleviate staffing shortages.
  • Facility Initiatives: Support the Imaging Center Manager in facility initiatives.
  • Hiring and Performance Evaluation: Provide input for hiring and performance evaluation of MRI employees.
  • Acting on Behalf of the ICM: Act on behalf of the Imaging Center Manager when they are unavailable.
Requirements
  • Certifications: ARRT(R) (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
  • Licenses: State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
  • Certifications: CPR certification.
  • Equipment Familiarity: Familiarity with and ability to use equipment including RIS, imaging equipment, and PACS.
  • Quality Standards: Demonstrated ability to maintain all required quality standards.
