Job Title: Registered Nurse II - Pediatric Children's Health Center

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II to join our Pediatric Children's Health Center team. As a Registered Nurse II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse II will work in a fast-paced endocrinology practice, supporting the pediatric specialty clinic. This role requires cross-training for other specialties to ensure seamless support for clinic needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent assessment and triage skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and room pediatric patients
  • Triage incoming patient calls and respond appropriately
  • Assist with insurance authorization of medication
  • Coordinate at-home and community-based care
  • Collaborate with the team to problem-solve and achieve desired outcomes
  • Respond timely and effectively to deliverables
  • Share knowledge, time, and competencies to assist other team members
  • Ensure practices and procedures are inclusive of interpersonal and cultural diversity
  • Act as a team lead, overseeing the work of others and ensuring tasks are completed according to deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
  • BSN degree preferred
  • Current, unrestricted California RN license required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  • Ambulatory Nurse Certification or other specialty nursing certification required (or willing to obtain within one year from start date)
  • A minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
  • At least 2 years of medical office or hospital clinic experience is preferred
  • Pediatric experience preferred
