About the Role

This Senior Electronics Engineer position at Innovation Works, Inc. offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills in electrical engineering and prototyping to drive innovation in local startup companies.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with startup companies to develop custom electrical prototypes.
  • Lead design reviews and provide expert feedback to ensure high-quality prototypes.
  • Collaborate with the IW Manufacturing team to optimize the Scale Shop's resources and capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for startup companies participating in the Scale program.
  • Analyze and implement best practices for electrical design, fabrication, and testing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical certification/associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with electrical engineering and prototyping custom designs.
  • Proficiency with ECAD software such as Altium, Eagle, KiCAD.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
