Job Summary:
Health Career Services is seeking a highly skilled Geriatric Primary Care Physician to join our team in Owensboro, KY. As a Geriatric Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, cost-effective medical care to the geriatric population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to geriatric patients, including routine check-ups, diagnostic testing, and treatment of chronic conditions.
- Comply with medical records and risk assessment documentation policies/procedures, quality initiatives, and electronic medical record usage.
- Coordinate and cooperate as part of the patient care team with the center administration, peers, clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and satisfaction standards.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited school.
- Current valid state MD/DO medical license.
- Board certification or eligibility with intent to certify required.
- Current DPS and DEA certificates (or in progress).
- 1+ year of experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification as required by department.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities.
