Key Responsibilities

The following outlines the primary responsibilities associated with this role, with a comprehensive job description provided during the interview process:

  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, including a thorough understanding of health information management issues such as HIPAA.
  • Prepare examination and treatment areas for patient intake.
  • Perform nursing duties, including measuring and documenting patients' vital signs, drawing blood, administering injections, and executing clinical tasks.
  • Monitor patients, documenting and reporting any changes in their conditions, such as adverse reactions to medications or treatments, and taking appropriate actions.
  • Operate or supervise the operation of radiologic equipment to generate diagnostic images.
  • Communicate procedures clearly to patients and monitor their safety and comfort during imaging scans.
  • Ensure imaging equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
  • Prepare and manage supplies and equipment for treatment.
  • Assist patients through a Virtual Medicine Provider.
  • Complete patient charts accurately and promptly, forwarding them as necessary on a daily basis.
  • Adhere to the core values of the organization, emphasizing teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality care, and friendliness.
  • Maintain positive and cordial relationships with all clients and staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Additional Requirements for Centers of Excellence:
  • Complete all necessary preceptor training to effectively onboard and mentor new hires in centers of excellence.
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development to manage the onboarding and training of new employees.
  • Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitating introductions, facility tours, and an overview of clinic processes.
  • Work with Learning and Development and new hires to establish a training plan and review the training schedule.
  • Provide weekly evaluations on trainees' progress to Learning and Development, communicating any concerns to operations leadership.
  • Complete final evaluations and Proof of Proficiency forms to submit to Learning and Development on the last training day.
Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in a clinical or urgent care setting.
Education Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent
License Requirements:Limited Scope Radiologic Technologist License, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
