Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Education Aide to join our team at Clear Creek ISD. The successful candidate will assist the teacher in the instruction of students, including those with identified disabilities, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the teacher with instruction, including preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
  • Support students with daily activities and instructional exercises assigned by the teacher.
  • Reinforce appropriate behavior in accordance with teacher's plans and assist in classroom discipline and behavior management.
  • Keep the teacher informed of any special needs or problems of individual students.
  • Assist in supervising students throughout the school day, inside and outside the classroom.
  • Participate in in-service training programs, faculty meetings, and special events as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Educational Aide II Certification.
  • 48 college hours or passing score on Paraprofessional Exam.
  • Bilingual Spanish aides must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish and English.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with frequent standing, walking, and occasional moderate to heavy lifting. Exposure to chemicals for cleaning is also a requirement.
