About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Garage Mechanic to join our team at CMC - North America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing malfunctions on equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and operating various mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions on equipment, including engines, hydraulic systems, and mobile equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance on engines and hydraulic systems for on and off-road mobile equipment
  • Operate various mobile equipment, including forklifts, trucks, and material handlers
  • Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following safety rules and regulations
  • Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and uphold the CMC Safety Culture
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with basic knowledge of hydraulic systems, mechanical and electronic engines, mobile equipment, and vehicles
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to perform minor repairs and routine tasks efficiently, correctly, and safely
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes, and mists
