Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Public Health Nurse to join our team at the County of St. Clair, MI.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience working with diverse populations. As a Public Health Nurse, you will play a critical role in promoting health and preventing disease in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to clients of all ages, including reproductive health services, immunizations, and disease investigation.
- Assess client needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique health needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in health education and outreach initiatives to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
- Conduct home visits and provide support to clients in their homes as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health nursing or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $56,413 per year, based on a range of $50,099 to $65,928 annually. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
