Job Summary

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Viridian Apartments, a premier apartment community in downtown Saint Petersburg. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of resident satisfaction and maintaining the safety, appearance, and operational standards of our community.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine building maintenance tasks to ensure the overall quality and appearance of the community.
  • Diagnose and repair problems with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other systems.
  • Conduct apartment turnovers, including cleaning, painting, and repairs as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and respond to their maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work cooperatively with other departments to ensure seamless operations and maintain a positive working relationship with vendors and residents.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
