Culinary Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. As a Food Specialist at Learning Care Group, you will be responsible for creating healthy and delicious meals that meet the nutritional needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Menu Planning and Preparation Develop and implement meal plans that align with our school's nutritional standards and budget constraints.
• Food Safety and Quality Control Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to state and federal regulations.
• Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of food and supply inventory, ordering necessary items as needed.
• Assistance in Classrooms Provide support to teachers and staff as needed, assisting with classroom activities and events.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cooking and food preparation for large groups, preferably in a childcare setting.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new menu plans and regulations.
• Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work independently.
