Job Details:
  • Seeking a Certified Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at South Georgia Medical Center's Comprehensive Cancer Center.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Environment is a busy cancer center with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Patient Age Group: Adults.
  • Documentation system: Elekta Mosaiq (must have experience).
  • Special Procedures/Unit Details: SRS, SBRT, IMRT, VMAT, 3D, 4D, 2D, IGRT, SGRT, DIBH.
  • Special Equipment Required: Philips Pinnacle TPS, Elekta Mosaiq EMR, Plan IQ (Sun Nuclear plan feasibility software), Elekta Versa HD accelerators (matched energies), XVI & iView imaging, GE CT simulator.
Job Requirements:
  • No First Timers.
  • Must have Cancer Center/Oncology experience.
  • No Call.
  • No Float.
  • Must be ready to hop in on unit, schedule does not allow for extensive training.
  • Must have experience with Elekta Mosaiq documentation system.
  • Patient Diagnoses include prostate, breast, lung, head/neck, skin, rectal, primary brain, palliative bone mets.
Schedule Information:
  • 5, 8HR shifts (07:30-16:00).
  • M/T/W/Th/F.
  • Up-coming holidays include 11/28-29/2024; 12/25-26/2024; 1/1/2025. All other time off must be approved ahead of time.
  • 8 hour Orientation.
Additional Details:
  • Scrubs are Caribbean blue or any color or business casual w/lab coat.
