Job Overview

At Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., we're dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients. As a Survey Crew Chief, you'll play a critical role in leading our field survey teams to ensure accurate and efficient data collection.

Key Responsibilities

As a Survey Crew Chief, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of surveyors in the field to conduct boundary surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, photo control surveys, route surveys, and construction stakeout.
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of the field crew using standard operating procedures and current health and safety standards.
  • Operating robotic total stations and GPS receivers to collect accurate data and information.
  • Maintaining company equipment and survey vehicles.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5-8 years' experience as a survey crew chief or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
  • Valid driver's license.
