As a Culinary Ambassador at Thomas Cuisine, you will be the face of our company, representing our values and mission. You will work closely with hospital staff and patients to provide personalized meal experiences, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will ensure that our high standards are met. Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include receiving meal orders from hospital staff, ensuring accuracy and adherence to dietary restrictions. You will also provide information and guidance to patients regarding their dietary options and restrictions. Additionally, you will familiarize yourself with the hospital menu and dietary guidelines to assist with meal selection. You will offer friendly and courteous assistance to hospital staff and patients, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. You will coordinate with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure timely and accurate meal delivery. You will maintain accurate records of meal orders and dietary preferences for each patient. You will perform additional tasks as needed to support overall operations and goals of the hospital caf and broader hospital community.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting. You should have knowledge of dietary restrictions and requirements, with the ability to provide accurate information and guidance to patients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach, are essential. You should also possess attention to detail and accuracy in order intake and documentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism is necessary. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional training in healthcare or nutrition is a plus. A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with hospital staff to ensure patient satisfaction are key qualities.
