Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled and certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a critical role in filling prescriptions, helping customers, and maintaining a safe and efficient pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities- Filling prescriptions and assisting customers with their medication needs
- Unpacking totes, answering telephone calls, and responding to customer inquiries
- Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including shelving, inventory, and product inspection
- Verifying customer identification and completing the prescription filling process
- Staying up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must meet state required minimum age
- Must be able to successfully complete background check and drug screening
- Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner
- Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days
- Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position
- Knowledge of company policy and procedures as promulgated in the policy and procedure manual and the employee manual
- Ability to follow all state and federal laws in compliance with pharmacy rules and standards
- Knowledge of MSDS information about all materials used during work
- Completion of Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Right-to-Know training
- Completion of HIPAA for Pharmacy Associates training
This is a full-time position with a minimum 4-hour shift or more depending on business needs. The job requires standing 55%, sitting 0%, and walking 45%. The maximum lift/carry is 50 lbs., and the maximum pull static is 20 lbs.
