Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

About the Role

Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, and gynecologic scans.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients.
• Perform ultrasound examinations using advanced equipment and techniques.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT registry preferred.
• Current ARDMS registry required.
• Current BCLS certification.
• One year of experience in ultrasound preferred.
