Location: Remote
The Chief Executive Officer of Operations (CEO) is the primary owner of the profit and loss responsibilities for the organization, concentrating on enhancing profitability while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Collaborating closely with the leadership team of Cayuse Government Operations, the CEO will spearhead the formulation of strategic initiatives, annual objectives, and the excellence of service delivery across all contracts held by the organization. This role includes overseeing the financial performance to meet annual commitments to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth strategies across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Establish and nurture client relationships through regular engagement, positioning as a trusted advisor to their governmental missions.
- Gather client requests through various Cayuse personnel or the Opportunity Management processes.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of operational capabilities, processes, and technologies.
- Foster long-term relationships with federal government representatives to leverage Cayuse's small business and diversity certifications.
- Lead or assist in the preparation of client proposals as necessary.
- Provide industry-specific insights to current and prospective clients to enhance their understanding of products and services.
- Identify opportunities for account growth in terms of revenue and profitability.
- Prepare management reports as required.
- Analyze performance metrics and recommend areas for improvement.
- Address challenges through effective risk management and contingency planning.
- Strategically plan for the growth of capacity and capability within the organization.
- Understand Cayuse's offerings and how they deliver value to clients.
- Make informed decisions regarding opportunities relevant to Cayuse's capabilities.
- Adapt flexibly and work within a problem-solving framework.
- Report on critical project statuses, risks, escalations, and achievements.
- Continuously engage with clients to build partnerships and identify new opportunities.
- Plan work and report status periodically; meet commitments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A four-year degree in Government Relations, Business Administration, Information Technology Management, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of ten years of experience in a federal government environment or government consulting.
- Preferably a member of a federally recognized American Indian Tribe or of Native Hawaiian ancestry.
- Strong understanding of technology's role in federal government environments.
- Demonstrated experience working with federal entities.
- Ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
- Must pass a background check.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to navigate opportunities relevant to Cayuse's capabilities.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse workforce.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Working Conditions:
Professional office environment. Must be capable of performing duties while standing for extended periods. May require travel for business or professional development.
