Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Dryden, NY.

This is a full-time position that requires a CDL Class A or B License and Haz Mat qualification. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving construction and portable plant equipment to and from jobsites, delivering material to customers and jobsites, and performing pre-trip inspections and required documentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate lowboys to transport equipment and materials to and from jobsites.
  • Deliver aggregates and hot mix asphalt products to customers and jobsites.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and required documentations to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition and perform mechanical duties as needed.
Requirements
  • CDL Class A or B License required.
  • Haz Mat qualification desirable.
  • Good physical condition and ability to climb in and out of equipment.
  • Able to work six days a week (Monday-Saturday) and occasionally on Sunday.
  • Must be able to drive a maximum of eleven hours per day and work up to 14 hours per day as regulated by the Department of Transportation.
Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions and extreme temperatures. The successful candidate must be able to work extended periods of time in the same position and perform duties in all climates.
