Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Nurse Specialist to join our team at ECHN. As a Perioperative Nurse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

* Performs comprehensive assessments of patients' conditions and develops individualized plans of care
* Coordinates patient care by working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
* Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
* Utilizes critical thinking skills and sound judgment in priority setting and delegation
* Demonstrates knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age and clinical condition

Requirements:

* Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have current licensure in Connecticut
* Must have certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire or within the new employee introductory orientation period
* Must possess basic computer skills and effective communication skills

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $115,000. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan with a 2% match, annual BSN bonus, certification bonuses, and career ladders with monetary rewards. Additionally, we provide PL days based off budgeted hours, 3 floating holidays, and professional growth opportunities.
