Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing physical therapy services to pediatric patients, including screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with standard physical therapy practices.

The Physical Therapist consults, educates, and trains patients and their caregivers, working in a pediatric population.

To support our caregivers and assist with their transition into our organization, we offer qualified and experienced Physical Therapists up to $10,000 in sign-on bonuses, if applicable.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
  • Develops plans describing a treatment strategy, its purposes, and its anticipated outcome.
  • Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Helps to restore physical function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent permanent disability.
  • Determines patients ability to be independent and reintegrate into the workplace or community after injury or illness.
  • Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service behavior standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school is required.
  • Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting) is preferred.
  • Pediatric Physical Therapy experience preferred.
  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.

  • Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Walking
Work Environment:

This position is located at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, Montana.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$61.27
