Senior Physical Therapist Role

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Physical Therapist for our vibrant outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation center. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of experience in outpatient orthopedics, with potential for management responsibilities. We are also open to considering exceptional new graduates who demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow within our organization.

Compensation Package: Competitive salary range of $75,000-82,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, a $5,000 signing bonus and $350 monthly contribution towards student loans will be provided throughout your employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with state practice regulations and ensure adherence to the laws governing physical therapy practice.
  • Complete all required corporate and clinical training, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Assess, treat, and oversee treatment plans for patients requiring physical therapy.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical and mentoring abilities, including guidance for junior therapists and students.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with referral sources through various professional interactions.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program.
  • Possession of a valid State Physical Therapy License/Registration is mandatory.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • A minimum of two to three years of clinical experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift patients using proper techniques frequently throughout the workday. Must be capable of lifting up to fifty (50) pounds independently.
  • Frequent walking, bending, standing, and reaching during the workday.
  • Visual acuity sufficient for evaluating patient needs and maintaining accurate records.
  • Effective communication skills to understand and provide directions.
  • Ability to maneuver wheeled equipment within the facility and community.
  • Fine motor skills for accurate reporting, charting, and handling diagnostic equipment.
