About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Firelands Health. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our surgical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients.

• Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring they are sterile and ready for use.

• Develop and maintain knowledge of surgical techniques, anatomy, and physiology, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.

• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.

• Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory and compliance standards.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a two-year accredited program in Surgical Technology or equivalent training.

• BCLS certification and certification of competency by the Liaison Council on Certification or equivalent.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
