Job Summary

The Route Driver is responsible for delivering products and rendering services to clients in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires a strong customer service focus, as the driver will be interacting with clients and customers on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and customers.
  • Display a clear understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and other related equipment.
  • Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines as needed.
  • Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
  • Accountable for all receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected, and product.
  • Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with District procedures.
  • Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
Requirements
  • 3 years of driving experience required.
  • Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license (unless otherwise indicated by state) and good driving record.
  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
