Your Role:

As a pivotal member of our Water division, you will spearhead the design and engineering of diverse projects that vary in scale and intricacy. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that water systems operate seamlessly and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Engineer-of-Record for projects and components with varying complexities.
  • Evaluate, select, and specify electrical systems tailored for each project.
  • Engage in design development through sketches, electronic models, and diagrams.
  • Utilize advanced technologies to create three-dimensional models of electrical systems.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and designers.
  • Prepare and revise documentation across all design and construction phases.
  • Lead project coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and conduct value analysis.
  • Manage project scope, budget, staffing, and timelines effectively.
  • Oversee the preparation and coordination of project specifications with construction documents.
  • Conduct quality assurance and implement quality control measures on assigned projects.
  • Review project deliverables produced by peers and junior engineers.
  • Assist in developing new standards and specifications for the electrical engineering group.
  • Conduct field reviews to assess as-built conditions and oversee construction phase services.
Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Licensure as a Professional Engineer.
  • A minimum of 7-8 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical and building codes, as well as industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of project document production and the interplay between drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is advantageous.
  • Experience with specialized power system software is a plus.
