Adjunct Instructor - Anthropology

Responsible for delivering course content in the field of Anthropology.

Applications for adjunct instructor roles are accepted continuously and will be reviewed as opportunities arise. These roles are not currently vacant. Instructors in adjunct positions do not receive all the rights, privileges, and benefits afforded to full-time staff. Adjunct instructors are engaged on an "as needed" basis and will be employed for the duration specified by the respective course. Some teaching assignments may include evening and possibly weekend classes. Instructors will be assigned to teach courses utilizing various instructional methods based on their area of expertise and the needs of students and the institution, which may necessitate a physical presence at the designated work location.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate credit hours in Anthropology or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience teaching Anthropology courses at the collegiate level.

Salary Grade: AH

Compensation is determined according to the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. Refer to Salary Schedule
