  • Data Collection and Validation: You will be responsible for collecting, validating, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of geological and engineering data related to oil and gas assets.
  • Spotfire and GIS Analysis: You will conduct advanced data analysis using Spotfire and GIS tools to extract meaningful insights and support basin studies and presentations.
  • Production Reporting: You will maintain production databases, ensuring data integrity and consistency, and collaborate across functions to optimize data storage, retrieval, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Education: A BS degree in geography, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience with industry-standard GIS or GIS certification, proficiency in Spotfire and ArcGIS, and basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Desired Skillset:
    • Familiarity with FME, SQL, Python/ArcPy, and APDM/PODS.
    • Experience with the GVERSE/GeoGraphix geological software platform.
    • Familiarity with IHS, Enverus, and Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission data.
