We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Surg team at Scranton Hospital Company. As a Med-Surg Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity with a 36-hour workweek (0.9 FTE). The successful candidate will work a 7a-7:30p rotating shift with weekends. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus and student loan repayment assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to Med-Surg patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  • Participate in patient and family education, including discharge planning and follow-up care.
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a current PA RN License or Practice Permit and be certified in BLS and ACLS. We offer tuition reimbursement and a 401K plan with employer match.
