Job Title: Software Engineer - Cloud Native Application Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a Cloud Native Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing cloud-native applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

* Participate in and/or lead the development of requirements, features, user stories, use cases, and test cases.
* Work with the Business Customer, Product Owner, Architects, Product Designer, Software Engineers, and Security Controls Champion on solution design, development, and deployment.
* Generate metrics, perform user access authorization, perform password maintenance, and build deployment pipelines.
* Participate and/or lead incident, problem, change and service request-related activities.

Requirements:

* Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
* 4+ years of experience working with Spring Boot.
* 4+ years of experience with Cloud Native application development.
* 8+ years of experience working with Java, Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
* 6+ years of experience working with Spring Boot.
* 6+ years of experience with Cloud Native application development.
* 10+ years of experience working with Java, Python.
* 4+ years of experience working with CI/CD (e.g. Tekton / Jenkins / GitHub Actions).
* 6+ years of cloud experience (GCP preferred) with solutions designed and implemented at production scale.
* 7+ years of SQL development experience.
* 7+ years of analytics/data product development experience required.
